MSC is the world's second-largest shipping company in terms of container vessel capacity and is operating 471 container vessels. With presence in 270 ports around the world and 350 offices in corresponding cities in the world, MSC is a global player in transport containers.

From its side, Helintec thanks to many years of experience and successful presence in the maritime industry achieved to receive a "vote" of confidence from MSC, raising the bar of expectations.

In the context of cooperation between the two sides, Helintec enables MSC to make strategic decisions for the best use and management of its fleet. Helintec achieves this through "MSC VRS ON BOARD" and "FLEET MANAGER", which are both versions of SEMT and were amended exclusively to serve MSC’ s needs.

More particular thanks to “MSC VRS ON BOARD” and the validation procedures, MSC improved the vessel performance mostly through the upgrade of data quality due to human errors’ s restriction.

Regarding "FLEET MANAGER" which used in the office, MSC has the ability to easily organize, archive and manage the data of its fleet, while creating voyage performance analysis. Through resistance modeling the validated collected data are being fully exploited and the consumption and performance of vessels can be easily assessed.
